    In binary, 140 is 10001100. 140 bytes = 1120 bits.

There are 10 types of people - those who understand binary and those who don’t.

Why is Christmas the same as Hallowe’en? 25 Dec = 31 Oct

I once tried to convnce an employer to calculate my pay in hex and convert it to oct when my paycheck was printed. He didn’t go for it.

    Don’t forget - 6 x 9 = 42 in base 13.

You are 1100100 % correct, Runar. But did you know that Christmas could come before Halloween? Christmas would be day 167 in hex and Halloween would be day 214 in base 12.

Ah but if you convert 42 in base 13 to binary, you get 101010, which if you accidentally move the 1’s too close to the 0’s you get 6’s or 666!!!!

AHHHHHH the number of thee beast is the answer to the meaning of life the universe and everything!!!!

This doesn’t make sense mathematically. Why parse Dec 25 in hex when it’s clearly a DECimal number, and similarly Oct 31 is OCTal.

Dec 25 = Nov 27 = Oct 31. So Christmas = Halloween, and sometimes both = Thanksgiving (when November starts on Saturday).
