Nice touch with the camel’s shadow in the first frame. But there sure are a lot of clouds on the horizon, for the Sahara. Unless it is another sand storm…

Would not be relieved by death? It’s got to be piles!

Why not give Tarzan a break for one or two daily strips before launching into the next story arc?

Well, here comes a week of crawling in the desert; maybe a scorpion or two, maybe some angry Bedouins.

This whole story line reminds me of the days of pulp fiction.

I wonder what Lord Greystoke will wander into now?

Well, I guess Tarzan and Sam won’t be rejoining the Legion anytime soon.

I’m guessing kidney stones for Lord Greystoke.

Nice foreshadowing. These strips are old, but still fun.

Travelers diarrhea? Plenty of sand out there to bury your spoor. Tarzan should have cut off Sam’s head to ensure he will not rise as a flesh-eating zombie….but, that’s another story, perhaps a good Conan tale…….

Just to get even, Tarzan puts an outhouse over the hole.

Well, if they keep the same tale going, Tarzan riding away on his camel, etc., up next is “Tarzan And The Foaming Death”. 70 days (seventy weekdays worth).

No, I have no idea what the foaming death is – I’m not reading ahead this time. Ruins it.

I think the fate that can’t be soothed by death is when Jane finds out about the “night at the oasis” with T-man’s lady friend.
