It’s kinda like being married to Alexa but with more practical knowledge.

Janice is fixing her glasses without needing them to see those minute screws, while I need an extra pair of cheap readers to look for my glasses when I misplace them

Artificial intelligence interests me. I sometimes wonder if we are not fast approaching the final few pages of Asimov’s “I, Robot.”

    That’s not intelligence; that’s knowledge.

Intelligence is inherited; you get it from your mother.

If you want smart kids, marry a smart woman.

There’s something to be said about being organized. But then it’s also nice to occasionally let the spouse know you need her.

The hostess at Red Lobster last night looked at her computer display and said it would be about 10 minutes. At that moment a busser came in and said a table was ready. We actually walked past several that were ready.

BTDT… Hubby: “Where’d that desk fan go?” Me: “You took it in the garage when you were working out there last week.”

I have been the one who knows where everything is. But lately husband has us out of the house so much that I don’t have time to deal with things.

We were getting new tires for our van. We have a lifetime alignment deal – it was purchase in 1998 (van is a 1996). It took me all of 5 minutes to find the paperwork for the alignment deal – from 21 years ago – it was the folder in the file drawer for that vehicle. Two days earlier we had gone in and priced the tires. I could not find the paper given us with the pricing for the tires and installation. A week and a half later I got to the “must do right now pile” (as opposed to the “must do before doing anything from the ‘must do right now pile’ pile” and found the paper for the tire pricing in it – if I was allowed to be home and working at my desk long enough, the paper would not have been missing.
