What spices do they use for that. That’s the only difference.

The local food bank turned away a tuck load of acorn squash,

their customers don’t know what to do with them.

    Truly funny, Dan.

I’ve never been a big pumpkin fan but I love acorn squash, butternut squash, spaghetti squash, etc. – even zucchini! The reason most people don’t like squash is that they don’t know how to prepare it properly.

I’ll take fresh zucchini bread over pumpkin bread, any day of the week.

If you can just get Linus to sit in an acorn squash patch waiting for the Great Acorn Squash to come and bring presents, you have a chance of starting a fad.

You known you are in a parallel world when acorn squash is used more than pumpkins. Acorn squash pies, “Look Charlie Brown, the Great Acorn Squash!”

Nice work Dan, I enjoyed it the first time I saw it. Brings back fun memories of what if? Ever heard of the band “Smashing Acorn Squashes”? Not in this universe they are the “Smashing Pumpkins”. Sliders could have done an episode with that in it. A one-of-a-kind show.

Has somebody been marketing a new hybrid version of “acorn squash”? The ones I’m familiar with have a somewhat pointy end. They’re not nearly as globular as in this cartoon.
