Give him a few years.

The first 5 years of life, you’ve got someone ordering you to take a nap after lunch. The next 60 years, they order you to wake up and get back to work.

Can’t they make up their minds???

I don’t nap, unless I’m really sick. I never want to get up after napping, just want to sleep longerrrrrrrrrr

I don’t hate naps. Quite the opposite.

Naps waste time, it seems. So does doing over a job done poorly.

I think he just doesn’t like ordered naps.

Kids know they miss out on things while they are sleeping. And the spent sleeping seems significant to them in their short time on earth.Adults know that you very rarely miss anything important and the time spent sleeping seems so small compared to the time you have been awake.

When my kids were little, they slept about 12 hours/day. I sleep about 6. When you are four, 12 hours seems like you are literally sleeping your life away.

Thats me.

I dislike naps but have been known to declare an 8:00 PM bed time.

What great evil has affected his young mind? Naps are a rare delicacy.
