The goblin shark must live nearly a mile below the bottom of the ocean if the 40,000 feet number is correct.

That’s too many millions because the earth hasn’t been around that long.

If it takes a million years for the earth to create coal, what’s the purpose of that hourglass?

So, that shark and Julia have something in common. And it’s not where they live.

You must have forgotten, there’s a hole in the bottom of the sea… Taking that into account, 40,000 feet would be correct!

What’s this? The day of alternative facts? In laboratories they can make coil in much shorter time (so why would it take this long if the circumstances are right). Goblin shark lives 40000 feet deep? That would be below the lowest known bottom of the ocean…

Yep, a million years. In 999,999 years and 364 days, no coal. As soon as it hits a million years, bang! You’ve got coal.

Even 4000 feet would mean it lives in the concrete, if you take it literally. It’s 4000 feet below surface.
