Human-caused global warming is a FACT. Not a “theory” (in scientific terms it is, but in colloquial terms it is not), not a “hypothesis,” and certainly not a hoax.
Polar vortex and 3 digit temps in early July in the mid-west in the same year. Some areas flooded while others are too dry; yesterday my area had been too dry, today I’m watching for flooding.
Look at how many people die from their car accidentally left running in their attached garage. That people can’t connect the dots that fossil fuel burning can kill the planet is unbelievable.
Some are so scared they can’t face the possibility. Some are elitists and think wealthy people will have a dome or some such thing so won’t experience it. Some are old and figure they won’t be alive when it hits.
In the medical manufacturing company where I currently work, there are engineers, managers and corporate officers who think and talk just like that guy with the sign! I have heard them in the cafeteria!(The guy on the right reminds me of the inventor on “The Simpsons”)
I have always wished that when Super Hurricane Sandy went up the East Coast, it had taken a small left at the Chesapeake Bay, going up the Patomac River and dumping a Major Can of Whup Ass on D.C. See how many politicians admit to Global Warming when it get it in their face!!! Not to mention finding out their Multi-Million dollar house does not have flood insurance.
