Those who dismiss this passionate, articulate “wise Latina” seem to not understand that she graduated cum laude with degrees in international relations and economics. She completed college despite the death of her father while she was attending. She is the first of her family to get a college degree.
She actually knows her stuff.

Even going last or near last in questioning during committee hearings, because she is a freshman in congress, she manages to dig for facts and elicit results that others before her missed:
