At Appomattox Lee knew he was the leader of a rebel army and that was treason and he was a traitor to be hung. He was a dead man. Yet his first words to Grant were, “My men are starving; can you help them?” This shows the ultimate leadership quality: service to others above service to self.
Trump, on the other hand, fails every one of these tests of leadership constantly.
Over ONE THIRD of Cabinet positions are unfilled, either never filled or due to resignations, firings, leaving in disgrace, etc. This includes the Secretary of Defense. Putin is delighted, I feel sure.
