I think it’s called playing the long game. In case you, aren’t sure of what that is – McConnell is giving the Dems a lesson in the Federal Judges lane. The Chinese are giving the USA (Trump) a lesson in trade relations. I suspect her reasoning(and many others) is to gather overwhelming evidence of wrongdoing, treason, and other little foibles – and then – bring a bill of impeachment at a time where it would have the most impact – early 2020. Earlier would mean the GOP just declares him and themselves innocent of all misdeeds – praises Trump for his stalwart performance in the face of the treacherous un-american Democrats. Getting the picture yet. I appreciate the Fearsome Four but they need to pay attention to the Lady at the Helm for a while. She didn’t get there by being somebody’s fool. You Wanna win? Listen and learn.
All the Young Turks down thru history survive only, if they respect the powerful, at least in public, lest they be a minor footnote in those same history books always written by the powerful they dare to mock.
If Mueller doesn’t fudge his testimony, and lays out his version of the report without redactions, maybe Nancy will see that it’s time for some action. Meanwhile, these newbies should pump the brakes a bit and learn their trade. AOC is becoming a caricature of herself, and one can expect to see her on GOP campaign ads.
Sorry, but these four have been hurting the Party at a time when Democrats MUST be united to beat that clown in the White House and his republican’t yes-men. They clearly have a message, and that’s fine, but they need to learn how to present it in an effective way not just piss people off! IMHO, Ms. Pelosi did the right thing!
