I’m not surprised that the racist in the White House continues his con game and that Fox News praises whatever he says, but I’m surprised that some Americans still fall for it.
The Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. That was a bit of a shock, and we didn’t know if they had any plans to attack the west coast. The Japanese internment camps were a result of a national panic. No, that doesn’t justify them, but it does make them a little easier to understand. The United States has had many less unjustifiable actions dating back to the first Europeans in the New World. It is true that Americans have much about their country of which they can be proud. But, a lot falls in the opposite category. Children in concentration camps is pretty awful, but it’s pretty pale beside 100’s of years of slavery, the extermination of the native population, the murder of people striking for a living wage by the national guard—- I could go on, but yeah, there are real Americans. Just not the kind we like to think we are and hopefully are striving to become.
I see a lot of repeat sound bytes and bitching about the reported conditions; but little suggestion of what to do with thousands of families coming across the border. I continue to be embarrassed by my party that sounds more and more like the GOP and their old rant over health insurance.
And no, you can’t move them into empty houses or hotel rooms.
Mike, its time to stop the nonsense. Federal officials have been sounding the alarm for the better part of a year. Even former Obama high officials have come forward to assure us that we face a serious crisis at the border.
This was not manufactured. It is not fake news. It is real, it is serious and you need to direct your efforts towards encouraging Congress to change the laws that promote the flow of illegals.
The crisis at the border is the racist treatment of legal asylum seekers fleeing the hellhole our decades of intervention have turned their once-normal countries into for the sake of fattening some billionaires’ portfolios. It’s very much like chickens coming home to roost.

I wouldn’t waste the few cents it would cost me to add FOX in my cable package. Just watch the mainstream and think opposite,

This whole border detention situation seems like the perfect opportunity for Halliburton to step in and fleece the taxpayers of billions.
