One does not “play” the “race card”. I don’t believe Pelosi is racist. I am thankful these young women are in the House. She could be commenting on their youth and lack of experience.
To see a pack of whining babies, look at the occupant of the Oval Office, the Senate Majority Leader, and just about every GOP Senator in Washington. How much significant legislation was passed in the two years the GOP controlled both houses of Congress? But now, it’s all the Democrats’ fault. Look to your own House, Ms. Benson. This is beyond childish.
And we were just treated to the Right’s snowflake show in the WH yesterday about those tech meanies who suppress the poor little Trumpistas free speech…
It is a GOOD thing to have new voices and fresh ideas in Congress. However, Dems from both sides of this discussion need to be careful not to demonize the other POV.
The “conservatives” have become regressives and their version of MAGA is to go back to the gilded age, increase income inequality, promote white male privilege. I cannot understand why Repub voters that are NOT wealthy are willing to continue to vote against their own best interests. Talking to states like Kentucky where voters hate ACA but love Kynect.
Lisa’s job is to sow dissension and discord among the Democrats while feeding the right base people what they crave. And she’s pretty good at it. Pelosi is the old hand, and young folks do chafe under the guidance of such… and the old ones do bitch about it. All true. What’s not true is that AOC et. al. are whining babies. Also not quite as true as Pelosi wishes: They’re all on board, going the way she directs.
Bottom line for me: Watch how it plays out, and don’t like the likes of Benson upset you: As I said above, that’s her job… and she’s pretty good at it.
Our Manchurian Candidate is absolutely correct; These “babies” should go back to those low life countries where they came from: Detroit, Cincinnati, New York, way to keep up Humpty, what a pimple on the ass of humanity he is.
