Responding to a question yesterday: the worst thing to do when you get sick or even think you are sick is to look up your symptoms on the Internet. There is a better than 50% chance that you will get the wrong information! This is what happened to me.
In my defense, when I was discharged from the hospital, I was given two conflicting sets of information on what to eat and what to avoid and an internet link that got me into trouble. My doctor’s advice: trust my (lower) gut, make a list of what works and what to avoid and stop stressing over it. Above all: stop looking up medical information on the internet.
