100F is normal weather in July where I live. We get way above that in August. Highest I’ve experienced in my city was 130ºF for three days straight, but that was an exception. But it was already over 70F at 7.30 this morning.
We’re about half that temperature this morning. We might get a high of 70F later at which point it’s supposed to start raining. Not much point goin to the beach today.

That´s exactly what is here right now at 15:30 CT in NE Mexico (think the very south of Texas), and is not uncommon at all.
