And you thot Betsy DeVos had quite the pyramid scheme with her Amway shtick. It was nothing compared to Epstein getting his victims to recruit still more barely pubescent girls to his mini-harems.
I said this in another ‘toon…Acosta’s light sentence deal for Epstein probably wasn’t solely his doing. Epstein had friends higher up. I think Acosta was directed to go easy. If he did that without “guidance” the Justice Department should have flagged it. If they were asleep at the wheel, the FBI investigation team certainly would have nudged them.
As if Acosta isn’t sleezy enough his latest is cutting the budget for sex-trafficking victims! https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/jul/09/labor-secretary-alexander-acosta-sex-trafficking-budget-cut
In the context of general immorality and transactional practice that permeates Trump and everyone in his orbit, it’s impossible not to suspect Epstein is now the target of a conspiracy among disenchanted investment clients. It feels a lot like what’s happened with the trial of Edward Gallagher, only in reverse; his loyal cronies have lost money by him, are cutting ties and want him gone.
The only possible justification for the Acosta deal is if his witnesses backed out and refused to testify/cooperate. If he can’t produce a solid record showing that the federal case was too weak to pursue, he needs to resign and be investigated himself.

There had to be some kind of quid pro quo there. I’m thinking money! I heard there was a secret meeting, and Epstein is obviously loaded.

LOCK HIM UP! And all his “friends” and “customers” with him.
He’s been protected by people from both side of the aisle – take ’em ALL down.
One analysis I read of him said he may have gotten all his money from blackmail – nothing more:

These are the things that turn men into mice.
Acosta looks like one of the biggest MICE I’ve ever seen.
