Reminds me of a scene in “Boy on a Dolphin”. The Albanian thief bragged about being a “big man with a big knife”. This “big man” and his boss planned a theft of the ancient Greek statue. That larceny was thwarted by an adolescent boy with a penknife.
The Lincoln Memorial is built on landfill. It is undergoing a $25 million dollar restoration at the present time. A 60+ ton tank will really help that, won’t it? (One hopes that the engineers can prevail over the Orange Disaster in this case.)
My family calls those trucks “compensation vehicles.” It all started when my kids were little and one of them asked why our neighbor, a very short and very nasty little man, traded in his perfectly good horse for a much bigger one. I said, “Remember the movie Shrek?” “Ohhhhhhh,” said the kids, comprehension dawning on them. Then one said, “And that’s why he has such a big truck too!”
I doubt that Trump would be willing to be confined in one of those tanks (even with his head sticking out)… not even if his bulk would fit into the hole under the hatch.
