Moral of the story….sometimes, it’s not just the person who hurt us that we truly feel anger towards, but the person we became in our own eyes because of that hurt. To forgive or move on often means letting go of both.
From personal experience I can say that no matter how angry you get, after you cool down you will always find stirrings of the old love in your heart. At least I did…
