I think once this kid gets out of the water, those two women are going to make her never like August again.

Summer is far too short here in Michigan, so yeah, I love August even wit the heat & humidity & bugs. I also get lovely flowers & shrubs and delicious fruit & produce. So, cool.

Smart kids do not wake up a sleeping mom.

I love August because it’s the opening act for September.

Though I have to admit. So far, August in Oregon has been SPLENDID! I love clouds. It’s why I live here!

A guy I know who’s a stone-fruit farmer, only grows the best-tasting varieties (peaches especially) and sells them picked ripe directly to his customers—so very very good—says that August is the Sunday of summer.

Got to love August? Last month was the hottest July ever thanks to Climate Change (AKA Global Warming).

August is the “Dog Days” of summer. Series, the Dog Star is in the sky this month. It is e perfect time to slow down, enjoy some lemonade, read a book,,and recharge your batteries.

You might love August where you’re at, but 83* at 3am is not my idea of fun.

So many readers made negative comments last week that we don’t get to see one this week. Thanks a lot all you complainers!

I read today’s comic in the newspaper. It’s another Gotta Love August and the entire family is in it including Phil and the dog. Wading pool, bean bag tossing, a picnic table and cool drinks. Looks wonderful!

So, I know it’s been about two years since I was following Stone Soup.But I note that the “kids” all appear the same age, and now Wally and Val’s sister have another child?
