I once had a parrot who’s previous owner had a seriously foul mouth (no pun intended). The danged parrot wouldn’t stop cursing. I got so angry once that I shoved him in the freezer. That lasted about a minute before I felt so bad that I took him back out. The parrot was very quiet for several minutes and then asked “What did that chicken do?”
My grandma’s parakeet used to sing the Chick a Boom song as I would listen to the radio in there and sing along myself and the bird would bob his head up and down to the music and say “chick a boom”!
