I remember having this discussion quite a few times when I was in grade school.

People always bring this up when I them that I’m color blind. They get all philosophical and say “well maybe my blue is your yellow… but can’t you just adjust what you see to the labels we use?”

No… no I can’t because there are less colors in my world. If you put a certain shade of blue and purple beside each other, they look exactly the same to me, even though they are clearly different to you. I don’t know which one is which (both look blue to me)

Well, it would somewhat explain the variety of expressions of art we see from people in the history of the world…as we know it.

I’ve had this thought many times, especially when taking to someone who is colorblind.
