I don’t read a paper any more, but (here I am and) I get plenty of political satire to enjoy. With any luck, more cartoonists will be making their work easily accessible to me here or in a similar venue… including the ones that are now un(der-)employed at the Times.
Concretionist, I miss sitting in a comfortable chair to pick & choose articles and editorials, and finish up with the comics page. The only remaining Boston paper, the Globe, is thinner and $2.00 a pop. I forget how much the Sunday edition is. Many newspapers have been bought up by wealthy individuals or conservative investment groups, and legitimate, independent investigative reporting is heading for extinction. If this action by the NYT is followed by others, we are simply being led further down a path of uncertainty.

I was an illustrator in the USAF and gave up nibs & india ink when I found my first felt tip.

Hmmm . . . could the NYT be guilty of obstructing political comics if there are no political comics to obstruct?

So, the “sword” of misinformed opinion is now mightier than the “pen” of the truth?
