While there are certainly some cases where digital begging is appropriate, most of the time it’s to buy some luxury when the person asking for it is just too damn lazy to work for it themselves.
Every time I hear of a GoFundMe campaign to help someone pay their medical bills, I get a little closer to dying of high blood pressure. Unless there’s some way I can afford to get medicine for that.
