I know what green smoke means to me, but I don’t believe that has any bearing to this story

And as I’m on the Grumbly Train Express— All we’ve been getting are 1st Acts/set-up w/ little to no complications. Then right to the finish line. Is the editor @ The Tribune too busy promoting her book this year to pay any attention to what’s been happening on the strip? Writing’s been on the skids since last autumn. & the recent stories, despite featuring some of Gould’s classic rogues, have felt more like 1st draft ideas ie. Haf ‘n Half now Splitface! B-B Eyes tied in w/ an old Orphan Annie storyline! OK. My stop’s coming up. Disembarking The Grumbly Train.

I don’t know what the green smoke is, but it couldn’t be much more noxious than this meandering, dull excuse for a story. Take a remedial writing class guys

It looks like Punjab and Asp, as well as Tracy, Sam, and the police to the rescue !

I wonder if BB Eyes and Company will go “flying with the Magi” ?

Why is Ms. Gay talking about getting to the police? It seems pretty clear that, if she’s willing to keep her head down and wait a few minutes, the police will come to her! Running out now just risks getting into the line of fire.

Punjab’s concern is the welfare of the Little Princess, and Annie’s new friend/fellow hostage, Gypsy Gay, also will be whoosed off to safety. Thereafter, it’s up to the cops to deal with the B-B Eyes Gang. And it will probably get real messy….
