    If it were me mistreating a dog back then, I’d prefer exile… perhaps to another prefecture. Then if I mistreated a dog in each prefecture, then I’d prefer exile out of Japan.

    “Sports fan” should still be an insult. I recently discovered that the highest paid state employee in Tennessee is the head football coach for the University of Tennessee.

    What does that say about our society?
