The year I ran the marathon, I was in a checkout line behind two beautiful and athletic young ladies in skimpy attire. “I ran 2 miles this morning,” one boasted to the other. I felt rather smug as I had run 9 that morning.

The body acceptance crowd has a long way to go to persuading folks to accept all bodies. :)
