Boredom in kids is fine — if they’re not immediately thrown in front of a TV or given a computer screen to sedate them, boredom can lead kids to creative pursuits. Boredom in adults is sad and unhealthy. Any adult who hasn’t learned to use time wisely — even down time — probably will have those physical problems.
There’s a kid named Red with a friend called Rover that I’ll bet you would get along with very well, and even Cagney would have someone new to play with.
