Max has no fear of the water and probably is a swimmer already. That’s the safest way to keep kids from drowning. (As is with all dangerous situations they will encounter: teach them about traffic, the internet, fire, electricity, bullying, weather, wildlife… it will give them competence and the ability to master dangers on their own. And teach them to ask for advice and help if the situation is new to them by giving that advice or the example that you ask for help yourself, e.g. if it calls for a lawyer or a craftsperson)
I’ve done this so many times, been slow to get in and the one doing the splashing (cause once you are in, it really is nice). Surprised she has her glasses on. Would we recognizer without them?
