Upon further reflection, I think that to Ellie, Dancing = Avoidance. She uses “Dance” as a term of getting paws off of her, whereas usually dancing means you want hands on you somewhere.
Has she never actually danced with a nice guy who wasn’t also trying to grope her? Has every dance been an athletic form of tackle-breaking?
Once the truth is out, Hubbs needs to show her how a gentleman treats his girl, and what dancing is truly like!
