I don’t like this kid’s odds with hair in the future. Male pattern baldness is already setting in… Frazz’s hairline on the other hand is fighting with his eyebrows for territory.

I love he lost a shoe in the process. That’s real determination!

The rule in my classroom - six feet on the floor at all times. (Four chair, two person).

This happened to me once. I was in Jr High in the late 60s in the old style one piece desk that had space under the seat for your books. Sitting in the back row leaning back. Guess i leaned back just a little to much all of a sudden bam i was staring at the ceiling. Did not lose a shoe however.

In my school, the chairs were part of the desks. If you were big for your age, it was a problem, but no one would hit their head on the floor…

This happened to me in 3rd grade, and the teacher made me stay on the floor until after recess—which I wasn’t allowed to go out for!

Is yoga like golf? (I don’t do either.) Do people around you have to be quiet while you’re doing it? If so, could we press them into duty for movie theaters?

In the giant warehouse where I keep Things I Don’t Understand, those Things are stacked on an intricate, interlocking, intersecting system of shelves where two confusing things meet and become exponentially hard to understand.

One of those intersections is where schools forbid teetering in your chair meets up with I’ve never seen a school bus with seat belts.
