For the Wiley bears this is like humans at a seafood restaurant, you go up to the tank and pick your lobster.

There must be something very very wrong indeed to have a Non posted THIS late…………..by the way, Wiley, I’m the proud owner of your first book (Dead Lawyers and okay, I can’t recall, being a Non Sequiter, some dang things), so I’ve always been one of your biggest fans. So please feel free to ignore me (god knows I do…………..) But where are the Nons of yesteryear?

Remember, it is not necessary to outrun the bear. Just outrun one other person running from the bear.

    And they’re SSSOOOOO CUUUTE!!!!!!!!

I read about a town in Canada that mandated all doors have lever-type handles. Later revised to exclude exterior doors…

Ironically, back in the real world, my state is debating having a hunting season on bears, as it’s considered that there are enough to be a serious nuisance. I’ve only had one encounter with a bear myself; I stayed in my car until it made up its mind that it was safe to finish crossing my road. They have supposedly been seen by neighbors out back where I live, which I believe but can’t confirm.

I’d pick a different forum if I seriously wanted to debate the pros and cons, the rights and the wrongs. But although I wouldn’t want to face a bear one and one and unarmed, collectively, we humans are a lot more dangerous to bears, and to each other.

Looks to me like the meals might be safe if they didn’t try to leave. At least they have some of the essentials, food and drink. Can’t say much for the company, though.

If those two drinkers are some of the guys who are fighting for the right to further foul-up the Earth, they should step outside to be greeted appropriately by a few of their victims.

Due to Climate Change, the Forests no longer keep the Wiley Bears adequately fed.

So, like other animals, they are migrating into the Cities to do their hunting.

And, they’ve developed an instinct for hunting the sort of people who no one will miss after they have been eaten.

Stockbrokers, lawyers, used car salesmen …
