my Lexus used to do this to get her pug sister Pixie to play tag. But now Pixie girl is blind and no longer plays, but Lexus still walks up to her and “bap bap bap”. I think she misses it.

C’mon, Sophs, haven’t you ever seen a cat fight before?

This would turn me against that cat except that I saw my cat lying on a chair and doing the same thing two nights in a row to our dog! Our Berner has 100 pounds on her too.

My junior cat used to “bap” the poodle, but the junior cat crossed the Rainbow Bridge three days ago. The senior cat does not (and never did) “bap”, and now the poodle seems despondent…and so am I.

Sort of depends if the claws are out or not.

If the claws are in its all in fun. When the claws are out no more mister nice kitty.
