The bigger problem here is Michael’s behavior to his loving dog is not tolerable. He should not be allowed in the house at all unsupervised. Maybe he needs a place to go with total adult supervision.

When the strip was running two of my three kids were the same age as Elizabeth and Michael, and I always thought that Lynn might have been observing my own kids at that time since the scrapes and shenanigans were so similar, especially what happened at school, and later related to us after the kids got home…
