Just read with dismay the story of Otto the Orphan River Otter who just died at his adopted home in a Tennessee nature park. While toxicology results haven’t come back yet, speculation is that grapes thrown in to his enclosure by thoughtless visitors may be to blame. “Don’t Feed The Animals” is not just a suggestion, people! It can be deadly.
@dadoctah, actually, green is a mixture of yellow and blue. Black is the absence of any color, and white is a mixture of all colors. There are only three primary light colors. Red, Yellow, and Blue. A television makes its picture out of red, green and blue light, extracting the yellows from the green. It uses green in the middle because green is the center of the “ROYGBIV” visible light spectrum. Orange = Red +Yellow; Green = Yellow +Blue; Violet = Red + Blue. There are other formulas: Brown = Red + Orange; Pink = Red + Violet. You get different shades by changing the ratios in the mixtures. Artists usually know about this, because you can mix different paints to get all the colors for an artists’ palette.

Hey, wait a minute!!! Everybody knows that there only 8 GUY colors: White, Black, Reddish, Orangish, Yellowish, Greenish, Blueish, and Purpleish. Liberal guys will allow Grayish, which is OK, really….. But everything is one of those colors, or a mixture of 2 of them!

I am not defining primary colors. I am defining the elements of subtractive color (light) versus additive color (pigment) and these are strictly defined by how they exist on a standard 6 segment color wheel. Black and white are not strictly colors but rather all colors or no colors.
