Is it just me or does that thing bear a resemblance to Wally?I wonder if it’s just Dittoes and they’re manifesting Wally’s subconscious thoughts/nightmares?
Why does it seem like the black mass is ignoring Kirbee and heading straight for Chic? Even in the previous comic, it looks like it was moving past Kirbee as if she didn’t matter. I’m beginning to wonder if this is a coincidence or if it’s related to Chic’s Adventure topside with the camouflaged topsider. Maybe someone is worried he knows too much.
All I can hope for is if Kirbee whacks it with the broom, the beast will pull a Cowardly Lion: [Jim/I chases after Chik] [Kirbee scoops Chik into her arms and slaps the beast] Kirbee: Shame on you! Jim/I: [crying] What did you do that for? I didn’t bite him. Kirbee: No, but you tried to. It’s bad enough picking on an cat-man, but when you go around picking on poor little bird-kids… Jim/I: Well, you didn’t have to go and hit me!
