Why do they need long-distance communication? There are squirrels everywhere (you just said so yourself). All they have to do is tell each other. It’ll get back to the big guy in a matter of seconds.

What are those poles supposed to be? They sure aren’t power or telephone lines — those don’t attach directly to the wood like that.
