Ramirez doesn’t care about obstruction of justice, checks and balances, executive over-reach (when it’s on his side), human rights, or the climate, but somehow tariffs hit a sore spot. I guess because it has to do with money.
But Mike the “best government ever” will just give money to the farmers to make sure they keep voting R. You know…..SOCIALISM. Its that thing you keep acusing others of doing while you vote for the people of your party who do it too. Remember all that money Sheldon gave you in exchange for your soul?
“Here, it is worth remembering that the TPP would have excluded China and locked in a US-led trade bloc in Asia for the long term. No deal that the Trump administration makes with Japan can possibly make up for what the US would have had under the TPP. At best, the US will salvage the TPP terms concerning Japan alone, rather than all 11 original signatories. Though Abe has declared his willingness to negotiate bilaterally with Trump, he cannot possibly grant the US better terms than those given to Japan’s CPTPP partners.
We’ve seen this movie before. With each Trumpian “negotiation,” the US issues its demands, offers little in return, and threatens “punishment” through tariffs if it doesn’t get its way. Like the thief who says “your money or your life,” there is no actual negotiation to speak of. By acting like an insecure bully, Trump has left the US increasingly isolated in the global economy. American producers and consumers are already paying the price. The only question is how much more “winning” they are willing to bear."

The farmer looks a bit like a turkey. Don’t get too close to the ever hungry man.

Actually, Michael, the farmers are saying “please, sir, may I have another?” as Trump destroys their businesses and they still support him.

YOUR GUY, Ramirez!
Are you just now figuring out that tariffs are harmful?
.
Or do you still believe that ‘trade wars are good and easy to win’?
Like your Messiah claims?

The money will go big corporate factory farms, not family farmers. But hey, let’s cut the Donald some slack, he’s a financial genius, he said so.
