Not pro-life. Pro-birth. After the kid is born to hell with it and the mother. They can’t be a drain on the men who got them in the situation. Where are the consequences for the sperm donors?

Pro-fetus only. You can’t force someone to donate blood, to get medical treatment or donate organs against their will. But you can force a woman to bear a baby she doesn’t want. And once the baby is here, the Pro-Lifers will abandon it and the mother.

Call me old fashioned, but no one who supports the death penalty or supports cutting social services in order to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy gets to call themselves “pro-life.” Go practice being “pro-life” by helping homeless people find homes and jobs.

While I’m at it, no one who advocates passing laws restricting people from doing something on the basis of religious belief gets to accuse Muslim congresswomen of trying to push sharia law on anyone. Look in the mirror, sunshine.

I hate the whole notion of abortion; killing a fetus. I am against it. But I don’t feel that I have the right to tell a woman what to do with the contents of her own body; that’s absurd. It’s up to her and her healthcare provider(s). No analogy fits, not the death penalty or anything else. It’s inside of her and dependent on her decisions. I think Roe-Wade got it right.

They are not entitled to the label “Pro-Life.” They are “Forced Birth Extremists.”

A true pro-life person would help children AFTER birth, as well as being against capital punishment, war, and letting the poor die from malnutrition. These people are none of that.

There was a rider proposed that would have the state helped support newborns for three years — just three years — if they had no money. IT WAS VOTED DOWN.

Don’t tell ME these people are “pro-life.” They aren’t. They only want to force women to give birth — even if raped, or as victims of incest, or if the fetus cannot survive to term anyway.

Since some men want to decide if women have abortions, I propose that some women should decide if men can get Viagra. That small group of women would decide when and if you need it.

Let’s not lose sight of the fact that this bill (and similar ones coming down the pike in several states) isn’t meant to ban abortion immediately and forever. It’s meant to force the issue up the judicial ladder to what the anti-choice crowd considers a SCOTUS ready and willing to overturn Roe Vs Wade. They’re not just being short-sighted monsters. They’re monsters with eyes on a bigger prize.

The effrontery of it. They are so brazen now. I’d like to send in the National Guard to arrest them for violations of the 14th Amendment.

So if you kill a pregnant mother who doesn’t want a baby do you get arrest for killing two people? If you destroy an eagle egg in an unoccupied nest which constitutes abandonment do you get arrested for killing a protected species? At what point is it abundantly clear that you have killed something that has a right to live?

Life begins at erection. If we are gonna go this crazy, let’s really go for it. Without the erection, pregnancy doesn’t happen, so let’s get those men under control!
