I don’t normally check in on Sundays, but I thought, of all the arcs G&K have done of late, the camping one just might be worthy of a Sunday panel.

    Guess I was wrong.

    Sad.

    Oh, well. See you tomorrow!

Luann and Bernice are very different. But both love stay together talking about nothing, as only true friends can do. Puddles looks so tired of this, but he love being next to Luann too much♡.

Spider webs are made by spiders, so cobwebs must be made by cobs.

In old English a “cob” was a spider. Hence, “cobwebs.” Kind of funny however to imagine a woman saying, “EEK!! A COB!!

I should think that brainy Bernice would know that cob is simply an old (Middle English) word for spider.

Because one pantaloon is one tubed leg covering, so one wears two pantaloons as a “pair of pants”.

I’ve observed birds doing a form of yoga and wing stretching in the morning. We once had a bird who did this faithfully. And hummingbirds do this a lot too. I guess it’s to avoid those dreaded wing cramps.

Because.. pants were developed from long socks (which came as a pair) that were merged with the skirt / loin wrap to eliminate the draft.. and for that.. men are eternally grateful. The bra.. was developed from a single wrap.. that was eventually molded to include a shape for those body parts to fit into.

Things seeming silly are the currency of young adult girls/women, and young boys/men. Nothing to see here really Sunday foible, but cute. In a way this is always a foundation reminder for the strip, it’s usually at the DeGroot’s, usually silly but affirming, and it proof that Luann and Bernice are always besties. Things are the way they are supposed to be Luannfan out.

Bra may correctly be referred to as a plural term when the load bearing capacity demands are so great that a second support system is required. Something like a jeep being dropped by a cargo plane might need two, or even three parachutes.

Has anyone actually listened to their kids? I have 4 kids all born in the 80s and now a total of 9 grandkids. they have all said the same things. except they don’t talk any more other. They are texting the exact same stuff to each other. Not talking, even when in the same room, texting instead

Cobwebs are made by cob spiders, but when people talk about about cobwebs they usually mean an abandoned web.

We want more CAMPING TRIP! Just in case Greg goes off on a different arc, here’s what I envision happening back at the campsite. My art is a bit rough… did not use a pencil sketch underneath and drew directly into the computer! https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3P0L_3SIgwY/XSt0sCe4IJI/AAAAAAAABXk/64tencwIPagyyBAqupBoIaQ1j-uL9Zo2QCLcBGAs/s1600/luann%2Bcamp1.jpg
