There are lots of college players that could surpass Jordan’s baseball stats. Plus, there’s still the belief that Jordan leaving basketball for baseball was a secret suspension for gambling on the games.

Wasn’t Jordan’s baseball sojourn actually an unofficial under the table suspension from the NBA for gambling?

Professional basketball and baseball at the same time? LeBron is no Bud Grant and definitely no Dave DeBusschere and for sure no Gene Conley (Three-time National League baseball All-Star with the Milwaukee Braves and Philadelphia Phillies with lifetime 91-96 record on four teams; on three NBA championship teams with the Boston Celtics as a reserve forward.). And Chuck (Rifleman) Conners played basketball for the Boston Celtics in 1946 and got drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1952. Played baseball for the Montreal Royals, Brooklyn Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs. Went on to become far more famous as an actor, most notably as the title character in The Rifleman. LeBron can’t even play basketball, he plays a perversion called LeBron ball. I can just see him crying that he could not hit the game winning home run because the pitcher kept throwing those fast balls.
