Pompeo and the other brilliant guys in the manure factory (stable geniuses) should get topographical maps of the coast lines and see which cities will drown first.

But, but, but we have the world’s greatest climatologist, greatest genealogist, greatest fire fighter, greatest expert on tariffs, greatest everything on top of the problem. What’s to worry?

…meanwhile, the EPA was practically dismantled by the rocket scientist in the WH, fracking continues in our National Parks, etc, and destruction is his MO!

Deniers say that a few inches of ocean rise is nothing. People at shore line towns are being flooded out more often. 100 year floods are happening about every year. Take places like VA Beach where the high point is 11 feet above sea level, if you don’t count Mt. Trashmore.

There is a Sea Level Rise Viewer kindly provided by the NOAA here: https://coast.noaa.gov/slr/#/layer/slr/0/-11581024.663779823/5095888.569004184/4/satellite/none/0.8/2050/interHigh/midAccretion

There’s a convenient slide bar and search bar to allow you to find out how bad it will be in your area of the country.

Is the ocean rising.. or the land sinking? Large parts of Texas evidently have sunk due to extraction of ground water and oil.. Not hard to imagine that removing oil from offshore.. just might.. cause the adjacent shore line to sink as well.

Anyone know whether Donald Trump — climate change denier and real estate “genius” — is selling off low-lying coastal land and buying up more elevated properties?

In trying to guess the answer, I’m not sure whether to put more weight on his contradictions and dishonesty or on his stupidity and denial of reality.
