Hey kid, if you can cook better, you’re welcome to do so. My former step daughter used to complain about my cooking; then again, she complained about everything. But that was my answer to her and she refused to even try to learn how to cook. The was one real positive about that divorce, since she was a “step”, I didn’t have to worry about getting stuck with custody of the brat.
The children are not very civilized. And they must have been a handful to their parents. Oh they aren’t wild feral kids, but they certainly try their Grandmother’s patience instead of helping her. But that is Rule of Funny at work.

The only time our “smoke” alarm has gone off was during a shower. It actually says, “Smoke” or “Carbon monoxide”, in between blasts of raw noise.
