I wonder who has more influence on the NRA. The membership (whom they claim to represent), or the advertisers who spend thousands on full page color ads in the magazine and the manufacturers who give board members custom guns and send them on all expense paid foreign hunting trips?
The NRA stopped listening to their membership years ago. They maintain support through fear-peddling. Native Americans, Arabs, Obama, illegals, always a ‘convenient’ enemy that you must protect yourself from. They took the LIBERAL RIGHT to bear arms and twisted it into a conservative tool of hatred, greed and theft.
I quit them back in the seventies when they began accepting money from anyone and we not always forthcoming about who it came from. I as much as I hate to see it coming down on top of them it’s a creation of their own making. Karma is a biotch.
And Mr. Two Bulls: I am chagrined that I earlier questioned your topic of NRA leader financial abuse. I should realize that it is your business to be properly informed and I am sorry and stand corrected.
