At least the Democrats give us TWO choices of old white guys (Biden and Bernie).
The RepubliCONs only offer one: Trump.
And the Democrats do also offer 19 (and counting) more candidate options from a diverse field (as to race, gender, age and special abilities) to choose from, any one of which is many times more qualified than the corrupt, bullying, incompetent, self-serving dictator-wannabe now usurping the White House after losing the actual vote of the people, solely because of now-well-documented massive illegal foreign intervention by a hostile foreign adversary.
The Democrats offer an embarrassment of riches to choose from.
So the content of one’s character is to be ignored in favor of the prejudice of the moment.
Interviewing for one of the most important jobs in the world has come down to being the right / wrong:
age
skin color
sex
In theory, we left all of that ridiculous bigoted discrimination behind in the 20th century. In practice, we have yet to overcome irrationally judging people by what they look like or what genitalia they possess or when they were born.
Now would be a good time to choose the best person to represent us based on proven character, qualifications, concrete proposals, and independence from corporate & party corruptions.
Or we could just go with the tabloid meme thingy — it’s not that important a job anyway.
Then again, Democratic presidential candidates running in 2020:
Cory Booker – not white, male, would be 52
Pete Buttigieg – white, male, gay, would be 39
Julian Castro – not white, male, would be 46
John Delaney – white, male, would be 58
Tulsi Gabbard – not white, not male, would be 40
Kirsten Gillibrand – white, not male, would be 54
Kamala Harris – not white, not male, would be 56
John Hickenlooper – white, male, would be 69
Jay Inslee – white, male, would be 70
Amy Klobuchar – white, not male, would be 60
Wayne Messam – not white, male, would be 46
Beto O’Rourke – white, male, would be 48
Tim Ryan – white, male, would be 47
Bernie Sanders – white, male, would be 79
Eric Swalwell – white, male, would be 40
Elizabeth Warren – white, not male, would be 71
Marianne Williamson – white, not male, would be 68
Andrew Yang – not white, male, would be 46
*by listing someone “not white” I mean not white European ethnicity/ancestry (I don’t know the actual ethnicity/ancestry of each candidate, Democratic or Republican.)
@Librarylady & @all • Not wanting to be the contrarian or much less be an unfair critic of those whom I don’t personally know, maybe I can just restate the obvious…
Having ethnicity, gender, or age factor into who you vote for is shameful. If an organization hired or fired by those criteria it would be criminal as well.
I’m so glad that Ramirez is so concerned about balanced representation in politics. I’m sure he will support the party which promotes the participation of women and minority groups.
Apparently Ramirez is just discounting all the ones shown as hats. I’ll be voting for one of the hats in the primary, though I’ll wait-a-bit to see which ones flame out first.

Any one of them is better than the aging Beast that grabs beauty by the p#ssy, the only option from the Republican side.

This is drawn very poorly; I can’t tell which one is Trump and which one is McConnell.

Ramirez, if your concern is that we do NOT elect an old, white man in 2020 there is a prominent figure you are missing from your equation.

Ramirez better be careful … If Adelson wakes up, he may not appreciate Ramirez’s attack on the “old!”
