Heck, yeah. There’s an election coming up next year and he needs something “good” to wave around so the gullible will stay hooked.

Is that the meeting with Tiny, Chuck and Nancy? Why wasn’t Mitch included and how did it turn out? Was there an agreement that the FOX newsies won’t disparage and Tiny will have to renege on? Don’t count on your bridges and freeways being repaired.

With emphasis on “now”.. which as we all know does not mean tomorrow.. or even 20 minutes later. “Now” needs to be confirmed, and approved by the Fox crew.

The Trump Administration has already taken steps to streamline the process to significantly speed up the approvals from the many agencies within the federal government. This applies to both public and private projects, so as far as infrastructure goes this speedier process will do two things. It will get shovels in the ground much quicker and save money. An approval process that takes years (sometimes a decade or two) that can be reduced to less than two years or even just a matter of months, saves tons of money. Now Congress needs to approve $$$ to make infrastructure projects happen.

Maybe if congress had not given the billionaires two trillion dollar tax breaks in a row, there would be some money to repair the countries infrastructure.

As it is we are going into debt to pay for the Republican Tax Breaks due to falling tax revenue.

Infrastructure Weak finally had a good talk after Two Years.

I don’t expect big mouth liar thief Trump to do anything except obstruct and collude.

“Democratic congressional leaders announced Tuesday after a meeting with President Donald Trump that an agreement had been reached on the price tag for a potential infrastructure plan: $2 trillion. There is still no guarantee a plan that both sides agree to will ultimately come together and so far it appears that many details — including how to pay for it — have not yet been worked out.”

Translation: Sounds good, but never gonna happen until donnie finally realizes that HE’S bankrupting the country with his insane tax cuts for the rich! Which means that it’s never gonna happen!

The use of money for infrastructure will help the economy for the middle class. Construction jobs payroll puts money instantly back in circulation as many construction workers spend all they make. They also pay income tax, Social Security “Ect”. many things to spur the economy. This would be funds well spent.

His “infrastructure” will, I bet include his “Wall”. Historically, when you talk “deal” with this grifter, you better check your wallet/purse after you leave. It’s more like to be a knife in the back before “shovels” in the ground."

I’m almost entirely certain that if he ever did know what “infrastructure” is, he has forgotten it. But he’s a wonder at spouting strings of syllables that sound good to his base.

Trump’s previous “infrastructure” plan consisted of tax cuts for contractors. This would include tax breaks for contractors that were already doing the work, so there is no need for the tax cuts. Plus if infrastructure is privately funded, then only profitable projects get completed. Therefore things like municipal water projects do NOT get done.

Actually it is one of his campaign promises. And, with Congress divided there is actually a good chance we can get a compromise bill.
