Vaccinations save lives. Refusals of parents to vaccinate children, whether based on religious superstition or gullibility towards anti-science conspiracy theories, clearly rise to the level of bad parenting to the point of child neglect and child endangerment.

Schools, day care centers and any other place where children are present should require evidence of vaccination prior to participation (unless there is an INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED medical basis confirmed by the Department of Health, not a family doctor who has been pressured by neglectful parents) and if the child has not been vaccinated, authorities should be reported and the children should be vaccinated.

It is not just a matter of protecting the children, who the parents have no right to expose to life-threatening hazards. It is also a matter of protecting other children.

And if other children who cannot be vaccinated either because they are too young or have CONFIRMED medical reasons do contract the illness, the parents who exposed them should be financially liable.

Designate a currently deserted island as an “anti-vaxxer” refuge and send all the unvaccinated children and their parents to live there.

Correct me if I’m wrong but anybody born before the vaccine was available and got measles, survived. Chickenpox, too.

We live in America, we should have the choice to vaccinate or not our children

Got that right kid. They won’t listen to Doctors and scientists who have spent their lives finding and perfecting vaccines but they will listen to some air-head bimbo on talk shows.

And those anti-vaxers should not be too surprised that their kids are not permitted in schools and other public places. There’s no true evidence of vaccinations killing or causing the amount of pain and misery while there are evidence when vaccination are not done – i.e. over 700 cases on something that was “eradicated” decades ago. And spare me your “conspiracy” theories.

Take the kid away from the anti-vax mother – it’s always the mother. Give the child to a smarter mother.

Maybe anti-vaxxers would respond to cranial-percussive behavioral therapy.

Quite right. We live in America; we should have the choice to drive our cars at 100 mph through crowded streets.

    Because Freedom.
