On a semi-related note, once while I was playing golf around age fifteen, I went to look for my ball in someone’s yard, and a woman came out screaming bloody murder at me for being in her yard. Which was on a golf course. Where people hit their golf balls.
I was mortified at the time, especially being so young, but now whenever I play the same hole, I joke about going to visit my friend while I’m there.

We had friends with a big house on a private golf course at the 10th hole. She would come home and his “friends” were inside, mixing drinks.
