If he could swing a home addition for Andre, he can certainly afford a pool, and a pool person to maintain it for that matter. Just ease up on the coffee and biscotti every morning, if he has to, and the pool is practically paid for.
What does Adam actually DO to earn a paycheck? I don’t believe he is supporting his family with his writing “career”.
