Called that one on the mark. Yesterday I said “Another precious Father-Daughter-Pony bonding moment coming up.”

Easy guess. She thinks of nothing else.

Write the book you want to read. Tolkien did. Look where it got us.

Well, our niece has wanted a horse since she was small. We used to joke she visited us just to go out the the stables in our small town :)

Well, she’s now 22, she has her own horse (and just had the heartbreak of her first horse having to be put to sleep from a bad illness :( ), and she and her partner have a menagerie of cats and dogs. She’s a Cert 4 in hospitality (a chef in Australia).

    We’re so proud of her!

After a week of grooming the pony, carrying food and water to the stall, not being able to play with her friends (all of her free time is spent taking care of the animal, and, lastly, having to shovel out the stall, the little girl trades the pony for a lollipop.

Pony? Hold that thought. How about a story about the pony express. It could be a retro version of Route 66. I can see the TV series now.
