The hotel rates on the island are very affordable, and they didn’t even have to use that app!
perhaps a huge piece of plastic made in Bakersfield will wash ashore. And they can convert it into a sail ,
enabling them to complete a raft from that tree—-that is, assuming a fully fueled chain saw washes ashore, too.

“Isn’t it kind of funny when you think about” it how there’s never any big waves washing over theses tiny islands. I know they’re just visual metaphors, but all the news about global warming brought this question to mind.
