What about the churches damaged by evil intent?

God’s concern is with our hearts and our consciousness, I doubt it’s with a building. Just my thoughts no offence intended if you believe otherwise. <3

Notre Dame has been in existence for many centuries. It is indeed a tragedy, but they will rebuild.

…and in Louisiana…

I hope the same love of God that went into the original building is replicated by those who help rebuild.

Two thousand years later, and still no building.

I am sending my thoughts and prayers.

I’ve just read that they’re soliciting from contemporary architects new designs for the reconstruction.

Imagine the reaction if they solicited “new designs” for the “restoration” of a classic painting — the Mona Lisa, perhaps — that had been damaged.

Ya know, I think is the LAST THING that would be on Jesus’ mind….

Connect the dots, people! America’s Notre Dame is in South Bend, Indiana, where Mayor Pete Buttigieg has recently declared his candidacy for the US presidency. Clearly this is a message from God that he hates gay people and will go to any lengths (like across an ocean to an entirely unrelated institution) to dramatize the point via his preferred messaging medium: mass destruction. (And yes, I expect some wacko evangelical to be making exactly this case in the next couple of days.)

Rebuild with wood? Only to burn again? Don’t use lead tiles on the roof again. Use steel for the roof supports and steeple.
